T2/1: Target Setting

TERM 2/WEEK 1

Time flies! 10 weeks or a term had passed. I had enjoyed the past 10 weeks learning together with all of you.

I know some of you may be disappointed with your class test result. It is important that you do not lose heart as our journey has to be continued. It's still not too late for you to be serious.

For journal entry this week, please send in:
(1) your revised target for English SA1
(2)your plans to achieve the target for English SA1

Please see below for a sample journal entry :

Subject : English
Actual Achievement
(based on class test 1
& classroom practices)
: 126 /200
Target for SA1 : 140 /200
My plans :
My greatest weakness is procastination. I always like to wait till the very last minute before completing my homework or revising for my tests. To achieve my target for SA1, this is what I have planned to do:
(a) work out a revision time table
(b) complete my daily homework
(c) limit my gaming time to 1 hour per week
(d) .....
(e) ....

Don't forget to set realistic target where you know that it is achievable by SA1 if you put in a little more effort.

Dear Donovan, Nicholas & Terry,
It's good that you have an awareness of your own weaknesses. That is really the first important step you have taken. Next important and dfficult step will be to sustain what you have promised to do. I am sure you can do it. Keep it up!
